Pittsburg 1, San Leandro 1.

The Pittsburg Steelers won the super bowl tonight. A dude that was a senior when I was a freshmen was recently drafted to the team. His name is Dennis Dixon. I didn't know him personally but I remember him well. He played for our varsity football team during a golden era, seeing more top notch college scholarships for football than for anything else. He is 2nd or 3rd string so he didn't get to play I don't think...but he still gets s super bowl ring and some bitching braging rights!

And to think...he came from little 'ol San Leandro. Same stompin' grounds as the rest of us. Too bad too many of us are still stompin on these same grounds.

Fuck man, dreams do come true.
